WHO WE ARE
Motivating Growth through Change
HIGHER HEIGHTS
Education & Outreach
MIGHT CDRC helps clients to establish 90 day goals and objectives. These objectives are measured by a client's participation in weekly confidential meetings with client coordinators, attendance in MIGHT CDRC classes and continual follow-up. MIGHT CDRC collaborates with the United Way and other community agencies to provide a bank of reliable resources to each client. MIGHT CDRC also provides some financial support to qualified clients - as funds are available.
CHILDCARE
Serving the Community
Our mission is to develop young citizens of the community that are productive, active, and academically and personally supported by providing services to meet these needs while encouraging and providing opportunities for involvement in the community around them.
THE ACHIEVERS
One Step at a Time
The Achievers are an established youth group which meets weekly. The sole purpose for this youth group is to help each teen member to set life goals, the steps to meet those goals, and the available resources necessary for each goal. The targeted age group is students in grades 7-12. We require a covenant of commitment to be signed by teens, as well as the parents. Youth are supported through qualified caring staff, field trips, discussions on current events, economic development, community service activities, learning proper behavior management skills and developing leaderships skills.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Reinforcing our Commitment
MIGHT CDRC is proud of its lead team of professionals, local business owners, pastors and residents who use their knowledge to help sound program outcomes and direction. MIGHT CDRC chose these particular individuals because of their expertise of the neighborhood, finance, business, schools, crime, housing, and client resources. Board meetings are held quarterly and are generally attended by board members and their spouses in an effort to emphasize the importance of family.
